CoolKid Shirts is still in its infancy. This is probably pretty obvious from the state of the site. There are three things that I’m working on to get my baby rolling:
First: Making Shirts. This is coming along. I have a screen press, I have ink, I have screens, and I’ve got all (hopefully) of that other shit that I need. Except the shirts. I’m working on that. I’ve got a bunch of designs in various stages of readiness for printing. I’m also working on learning what the hell I’m doing. There have been setbacks, of course, but I hope to have a shirt done within the next two weeks.
Second: Getting the Website Ready. Also coming along. As you can see, right now I have a blog where a webstore thingy should be. This is part of my evil genius plan. I’m going to use Wordpress to make the store. Madness, you say? You’re damn right. I think I’m probably going to use E Junkie or something like that to do the actual cart, but beyond that I don’t see why Wordpress isn’t a perfectly acceptable platform. For now, at least. Of course, I don’t know a ton about Wordpress (and not shit about cart software), but I’m learning quickly.
Third: Getting Legal. I need to get a business license and all of that shit. Not coming along as much, but I’ll get to it, I promise.
So, long/short, I’m getting there. In as little as a few weeks this will be churning along, a full-fledged place to get a kick-ass, hand-printed shirt that will make you cooler than you are now. Hopefully. Maybe.
